Focused Editing
Headings, lists, todos, and blockquotes are formatted directly within the body, without switching to preview mode. Images, tables, code blocks, and flowcharts are displayed inline. Use full-width formatting when needed. The Article Inspector consolidates word count, linked pages, version history, and table of contents.
Flowcharts
Define structure in Mermaid code blocks; locally rendered flowcharts appear upon exiting edit mode. The source code remains part of the text for easy editing; exported HTML or PDFs preserve the diagrams.
Migrate from Old Tools
The Import Center supports Notion, Obsidian, flomo, Day One, Apple Notes, Apple Journal, and Markdown. Cove first identifies and audits content before import confirmation; failed attachments are listed in the report, and batch imports can be rolled back.
Diary
One page per day. Mood, weather, and location are optional; a monthly calendar marks written dates, using that day’s first image as a thumbnail. Review entries via the Mood Compass, Weather Stats, and Diary Map.
Tasks, Without Stress
Tasks can be written directly into any note and viewed collectively in the task panel. Cove does not use unread counts or countdown timers to pressure completion.
