My Location Details uses your phone's Global Positioning System (GPS) to provide information about your current location.
Currently available information:
• Direction / Heading
• Speed
• Approximate address
• GPS coordinates in the latitude and longitude format you need
• Location on the map
• Altitude
• Sunrise and sunset times
• Device time and time zone
• Local time and time zone (if different from the device time zone)
My Location Details can store a specific location (more features coming soon) for later lookup, or share your location with any app in the share menu.
My Location Details was initially created to share locations between two people in cases where multiple vehicles are going to the same place.
There are two buttons at the bottom of the app screen for sharing your current location.
• Brief - This button shares only the Apple (or Google or HERE if selected) Maps link.
• Detailed - This button shares your current location along with GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude), approximate address, and the Apple (or Google or HERE if selected) Maps link.
The details provided can be very helpful for roadside assistance (towing) or emergency services.
