Notion Mobile is an award-winning music composition tool that has been free to use for over 10 years. It is available on iOS, iPadOS®, macOS and more! You can use traditional music notation very easily to create dynamic works through its intuitive touch interface and incredible editing features.
Notion Mobile has a friendly user interface and simple interactive piano keyboards, fretboards, drum pads, and even offers the option of handwriting recognition, allowing you to easily start composing. Your concert will play in the most realistic way, using audio samples recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.
Notion Mobile is a native cross-platform application, which means you can write on any device without a continuous internet connection. When you reconnect to the internet, you can sync your work across multiple devices - either through your preferred cloud provider or via an optional wireless transfer between PreSonus applications on your devices. Start your work on one device and finish it on another. Once you're satisfied with your creation, you can share Notion files or export them in the form of MIDI, MusicXML, PDF or audio files
Your performance is composed, edited and played back with piano and orchestral performance samples from the London Symphony Orchestra recorded at Abbey Road Studios - along with excellent sampled guitars, bass, drums and other popular instruments. When you're ready for more sounds, you'll find that Notion Add-on Soundsets is a rich library that can be purchased as part of a feature pack. To save space, the initial app download only includes the piano - you can manage the bundled Soundsets on your device or keep them in the cloud, simply by clicking "Sound Installation".
