The Story of This App
The idea for this app originated from my filming of "The Private Life of Plants" for the BBC. A friend in my garden asked me how she could create such a colorful year-round display. She was having trouble choosing plants, especially the right ones for specific places like under trees or around the garage. I realized there had to be an easier way to help people find the right plants, regardless of their gardening experience.
So I created an interactive plant database to help users find plants suitable for any garden conditions. Over time, we added features like searching based on plant attributes and adding notes, and documenting the plants in the garden.
Finally, we launched the revolutionary assistant, Planty AI, to help users easily add the right plants. After over a decade of production, we've compiled data and over 15,000 pictures to help identify plants.
Now, only me and app developer Sylwester are left perfecting this great app. - Neil Bromhall
