Shō Harmony is an instrument lab dedicated to the shō — the Japanese free-reed mouth organ used in gagaku court music.

• Play a synthesized shō by hand, or sound any of its eleven traditional aitake tone clusters
• Combine clusters or tap individual pipes for fully custom voicings
• Transitions: a map of how the eleven aitake connect, based on how many pipes they share
• Sequencer: build, save and export progressions as MIDI or audio
• Ear Trainer: learn to identify each aitake by ear
• Theory: the instrument, gagaku, and the aitake explained, with real sound examples
