Duxiang is a safe and private lightweight note-taking app. You can use it to record your daily life, learning insights, and thoughts. But Duxiang is more than that. We have created and transplanted the souls of many virtual characters to make them your partners in Duxiang. They will comment under your records, and you can discuss, chat with them, or even... argue.
No real person can see your records, only your AI partners.
## Why Develop Duxiang
As a member of the development team, I use social products such as Weibo and Jike, and I also use Notion and Flomo to record my life. But as an introvert, I often get caught in a contradiction. On the one hand, I hope no one can see my complaints, rants, and those off-the-wall inspiration ideas. On the other hand, I hope to get responses and see "what others would think".
This contradiction gave birth to Duxiang, a lightweight note-taking + role-playing app.
## What's the Difference from Other AI Chat Products?
First, we are confident that we can perform better in terms of AI effects.
Second, our team has used a large number of AI chat products, including the most mainstream international products like Character.ai and domestic ones such as Glow and Dream Island.
