Tape Fiasco 2

Tape Fiasco 2 turns a single audio loop into a performance instrument.

Originally a desktop plugin, Tape Fiasco 2 now comes to iPad as a full-screen standalone app and as an AUv3 plug-in for AUM, Logic Pro for iPad, GarageBand, Cubasis, and other AUv3 hosts. Feed it any sound and it will stretch, freeze, reverse, repeat, scratch, and recolour it in real time. This is a Creative Multi FX built for hands-on tweaking, not a set-and-forget processor.

FOUR TIME ENGINES
Capture and reshape time with four engines that run together and lock to your host tempo:
- Stretch for grain-based slowdowns and frozen buffers
- Varispeed for tape-style speed and pitch glides, coupled the way they are on tape
- Stutter for rhythmic repeats and buffer edits
- BendIt for circuit-bent scratches, warps, and mangled repeats

30 EFFECTS
A drag-to-reorder chain of colour effects, plus a permanent MAIN row for final level and tone. Build anything from a gentle warm-up to a fully destroyed sound-design chain:
- Distortion: BITROT, CIRCUIT BEND, DISTORT, EXCITE, PLASMA, WAVEFOLDER

DEEP MODULATION
The ANIMATE page brings the whole plugin to life. Assign LFOs, random modulators, envelope followers, and hand-drawn graph curves to almost any parameter, and sequence the Stutter and Stretch engines step by step. Run up to 42 modulation destinations at once, or 72 with Perform.

PERFORM AND RECORD
Four assignable macros and an X/Y pad turn many parameters into a single gesture. Design one-control transitions, build-ups, and drops, then record your moves straight into the host as automation.
