FutureNerds

FutureNerds is the app Montessori schools use to run the day. Teachers take attendance, record observations, and plan the work cycle. Administrators manage classrooms, enrollment, and billing. Parents see how their child's day went.

What staff can do:
- Take attendance with check-in and check-out times, and watch present, absent, tardy, and excused counts update live.
- Manage classrooms by age level, from infant and toddler through primary, elementary, and adolescent.
- Keep full child profiles, including enrollment history, emergency contacts, and authorized pickups.
- Plan morning and afternoon work cycles from the Montessori curriculum: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies. AMS and AMI frameworks are both supported.
- Record observations and mastery levels (Not Yet Presented, Presented, Practicing, Mastered) per child and competency.
- Generate Montessori-style report cards and conference reports.
- Message parents directly, post classroom announcements, and share photos.

What parents can do:
- See the day at a glance: whether your child is checked in, and what is on the school calendar.
- Read observations and progress as teachers record them.
- Get classroom announcements and message teachers directly.
- View photos from the classroom.

Built for Montessori:
Observation sheets print for the mat, because a phone has no place in a Montessori classroom. Scan them back in when you are done. Curriculum areas and mastery labels are configurable per school.

Access:
FutureNerds is for enrolled schools. You sign in with an account your school creates for you. There is no public sign-up for a classroom you are not part of.
