[Synopsis of "Return to the Future: 1999"]

On the last day of 1999, a "heavy rain" was pouring down on the sky. Pedestrians and walls peeled off and dissolved in the rain, and the world came to a brand-new old era. And everyone except you disappeared without a trace after being eroded by the "heavy rain". In this world where humans and occultists coexist, there is a group called "The Remolding Hand". They are bent on restoring the glory of occultism, which is not unrelated to the emergence of the "heavy rain".

Vertin (played by you) was appointed as a "Timekeeper" (witness of the era) by the "St. Love Foundation", an organization that houses occultists, because she is not affected by the heavy rain. She travels through the era changes caused by the "heavy rain", and together with her assistant Sonetto, she searches for occultist partners from different eras and countries who have noticed the precursors of the changes, and helps them escape the "heavy rain". Her origin, the truth of the heavy rain, and the purpose of the organization. Everything is as blurred and indistinguishable as if separated by a rain curtain.

People have many names for occultists: wizards, magicians, weirdos... Sometimes, people also misidentify them as radios, televisions, scarecrows or satellites. Like others, they bear the marks of different eras.
