Use Pastel to capture and collect color palettes!
Pastel is an app for amateur developers and artists (like us!) that lets you build a library of color palettes for use in your projects.
On the iPad, drag colors out into other apps that support color dropping, such as Pages and Keynote, or pull in many third-party apps from your favorite developers, so you can use the Pastel library as a master collection of colors across apps.
Sync your library between devices using iCloud.
Analyze photos in your photo library or files to determine their dominant colors - or manually select specific colors if you need to - and save their palettes to Pastel.
Color pickers such as wheels, RGB sliders, and crayons, or select named colors from a color library you manage yourself. On the iPad, drag from the sidebar into any palette.
Copy various developer-centric code representations such as RGB, hex, Objective-C, Swift, and SwiftUI. Paste hex codes into the slider color picker.
Copy the pixel bitmap representation of a palette to paste into your favorite pixel editor, or share a screen-sized version to set as your wallpaper or the face of your Apple Watch. In the free version, try out the built-in library and add your own palettes (up to 20 items). Upgrade to the unlimited version using an in-app purchase.
