"Legion" is a Rogue-lite strategy game with original gameplay, developed online by independent game producer Way and his programmer friend. Here, you'll see a painting style you've never seen before and gameplay you've never heard of. After nearly two years of pre-release testing, this indie game, which is hard to describe, is about to meet you on August 20th!



The world is so strange, I want to take a look.

The original fantasy world of Losland awaits your exploration! Each of the three kingdoms has different geographical features and local customs, is home to many original fantasy creatures, and terrifying demons that rule over their own territories! Use your wisdom to build your own legion and start your adventure in Losland! And three mysterious kingdoms with their own characteristics will be updated one after another later.

The game creatures in "Legion", no matter tall or short, fat or thin, are all drawn within more or less squares, and putting them together forms a legion. To be fair, "Legion" has a certain learning curve. Its gameplay is different from any strategy game on the market. Its relatively simple visual effects and the hardcore experience where one wrong move can lead to total defeat are not very friendly to many players. Producer Way has been fully committed to independent game development for nearly ten years. Due to insufficient funds and his relatively strict requirements for the artistry and originality of the game, "Legion" is his first officially released game.

When asked about the new icon of the game and the little figure holding a torch on the cover, Way said that this character is a new hero in the subsequent updated chapters. In terms of setting, it is roughly equivalent to himself in another world, a crazy person full of idealistic passion and a delusional sense of mission. He really likes that famous quote by Mr. Lu Xun about the torch and the light, and said that developing indie games is his action of "giving off a little light for every bit of heat" he has. He named his newly registered company Spark Technology, also hoping that he can pass on the fire through the game and bring more inspiration and creative sparks to society.

To be fair, although this game is full of creativity, its very unique art style and not very friendly difficulty threshold注定 it to be a niche game. Coupled with its buyout payment method, without in-app purchases and ads, it's difficult to bring substantial commercial returns.
