Producer's self-introduction:
Before making "Loner", I was a game programmer and always wanted to make a game with my own style. The initial idea was just to make a 3D version of "Flappy Bird" from a different perspective. However, during the production process, I suddenly found that this game had a sense of peaceful solitude: a plane slowly flew past one obstacle after another in a dark passage, and the end of the passage in the distance glowed faintly and could never be reached. Influenced by some literary and artistic works, I have always been interested in the sense of loneliness, and there are few games on the market that focus on the sense of loneliness, so the core of the game was thus determined.
As a programmer who just started learning art, I understood that it was unrealistic to make detailed characters and environments alone in a short period of time. So I established an art style paying homage to "2001: A Space Odyssey", and this style also provided another major feature for "Loner" - the color tone of the entire scene can be changed arbitrarily.
