Lattics

Lattics is a "brain-like" academic and creative writing software, which is very suitable for writing academic papers, research reports and fictional novels.
Lattics has been designed and developed from the underlying data structure, to rich text editing, and then to the entire software interface, adopting a brand-new "brain-like" concept.

Function overview:
- Content graph: Manage and view the relationships between contents by project and Tag, and overview the content in three different views: mind map, plot planning, and bird's-eye view.
- Offline first: Can be used without registration/login, and the content is default stored on the local computer.
- Full library backup: Can manually and regularly backup all contents.
- File management: Can drag and drop files such as PDF, Doc, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynotes, Numbers, Pages, JPG, PNG, Video, etc. into the project outline and graph for management.
- References: Supports 8,000 CSL style templates, supports BibTex, RIS, and EndNote formats, and can add a reference list through the / menu.
- Zotero integration: By installing the Better BibTex plugin, it can be perfectly integrated with Zotero. You can drag and copy Zotero notes into Lattics and automatically obtain their references.
- PDF reading: Switch among three reading modes, can highlight and annotate, and can extract the content of the PDF as cards.
- Goal setting: Can set writing goals for articles and projects, and can view the daily writing word count at any time.
- Flashcard review: Supports three flashcard question types: fill in the blank, multiple choice, and question and answer, supports the Ebbinghaus memory algorithm, and reviews flashcard knowledge according to its algorithm.
- Card writing: The card library can record various inspirations and fragmentary information.
- Content interconnection: Use the grammar "@ " (reference), "[^ " (footnote), and can easily establish reference connections between articles and cards. One modification updates multiple places.
- Knowledge Wiki: Can make good use of the reference function to quickly establish various knowledge entries. When entering the corresponding entry name, intelligent association and quick input can be achieved.
- Extended information: Can mark Tags for articles and cards, and view information such as two-way links, unlinked, and document structure.
- Two-way links: Lattics can use @ to establish article links, and can view the forward links, reverse links, and unlinked articles in the extended information.
- Dual-screen comparison: Can open two editors simultaneously to compare and edit two articles respectively.
- Hierarchical outline: The project outline has infinite levels, and articles can be dragged to adjust the hierarchical position.
- Hierarchical tags: Supports hierarchical tags like #fruit/apple/red apple, and can directly add #Tag in the text.
- Article integration: Articles can be merged, split, and read in order.
- Block elements: Use the grammar "/ " to insert paragraphs, pictures, code, tables, and mathematical formulas. The block elements can be dragged and moved.
- Text and picture column layout: Can typeset text and pictures in multiple columns, and can be laid out in columns by dragging.
- Formula editing: Provides common operators, including Greek letters, geometry, sets, functions, calculus, etc., and is much easier to use than MathType.
- Markdown: Automatically parses common MD syntax and renders it in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get style.
