Exoplanets are planets found by astronomers outside the solar system that orbit other stars. The Exoplanet app allows you to learn about currently known exoplanet systems in a highly visual and interactive way. In addition, the Exoplanet app also provides a view of the Milky Way. With simple fingertip zooming, you can explore the vast universe at different scales, from the solar system to the cosmic microwave background radiation. The planetary data used in this software is updated in real time. Once a newly discovered planet is detected, you will receive a data update reminder (requires an internet connection). This software is developed and maintained by a professional astronomer.
