Spectrum 30

Spectrum 30 is a progressive 30-day training program designed to help Soldiers and leaders understand the electromagnetic spectrum, recognize electromagnetic signatures, manage emissions, and operate through degraded communications.

TRAIN THE FUNDAMENTALS
• Follow a structured 30-day spectrum-awareness journey
• Learn through simple visual lessons and infographics
• Reinforce concepts with five-question challenges
• Practice leader decision-making with focused simulations

BUILT FOR SOLDIERS AND LEADERS
• Separate Soldier, instructor, and evaluator experiences
• Downloadable leader handouts and training visuals
• Practical standards, decision points, and after-action review tools
• Day-focused practice labs using clearly labeled fictional training data

VISUALIZE THE INVISIBLE
The Magnetic Field Explorer uses the iPhone magnetometer to demonstrate relative magnetic-field changes near approved electronics and wiring. It is not an RF spectrum analyzer. The other Practice Labs are simulations and do not scan Wi-Fi, cellular, tactical-radio, GPS-threat, or live RF activity.

No account or external RF sensor is required.

Spectrum 30 is an independent educational training tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense or any military service.

SEE, TRY, REMEMBER
Visual Learn activities and hands-on Explore experiments help explain each concept. Predict what will happen, change a setting, and explain what you see. Optional audio examples include transcripts. Personal practice and Explore settings are saved separately from formal instructor assessments.
