Sondra: Audio & Video Tools

Sondra puts 15 everyday audio and video tools in one app. Remove background noise from a voice memo, make a video small enough to send, cut out a part, or have a text read aloud. Your files are processed right on your iPhone.
CLEAN UP THE SOUND
• Remove background noise: a speech denoiser (AI) that reduces hum, fans, traffic and room noise while keeping the voice, plus a gentler mode for music or several speakers. Works on audio and on the sound of a video.
• Make a quiet recording louder.
• Remove silent pauses from a talk or a lecture.
VIDEO TOOLS
• Make a video smaller so it is quick to send.
• Cut out a part, speed up or slow down, join files into one.
• Get the sound from a video as MP3 or M4A.
• Turn a video into a GIF, a GIF into a video, or take a picture from a video.
• Check a video's resolution and frame rate.
RECORD AND READ ALOUD
• Record with the microphone, then clean up the noise in one go.
• Read text aloud with the iPhone's voices in many languages, or download natural English voices (about 110 MB, once).
• Turn audio into a video you can post anywhere.
• Read along: words light up as they are read; tap one to hear it again.
WORKS THE iPHONE WAY
• Share a video from Photos or a file from Files straight to Sondra.
• Save results to Photos or share them to any app.
• Long-press the app icon for quick actions.
• Works with Siri, Shortcuts, Control Center and the Lock Screen.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Files are processed on your iPhone and are not uploaded. Most tools work without an internet connection.
• No account, no ads, no watermark, no in-app purchases.
• Nothing is sent automatically. A problem report is sent only if you review it and tap Send.
GOOD TO KNOW
• Noise removal is made for speech. It does not separate vocals from music.
• Long or 4K videos take longer on older iPhones.
