Save the street side

Search an NYC address or intersection. Choose the exact street side beside your car. Review your choice. Tap Save parking. Location can help you browse. It never chooses a side or saves parking.

Small maps help you check the location. Directions opens Apple Maps near the selected block. The destination is approximate.

Check your next move

When current rules support a move time, Home shows it with your reminder. If rules are missing, old, or unclear, check the posted sign. You can save an address and side without a rule deadline.

After checking every sign, you can set your own move time. This does not confirm that parking is allowed. An earlier known restriction takes priority.

Plan a stay

Open Plan a stay for a selected street side. Choose when you will leave. Check the known restrictions before that time. This check does not save parking or reserve a space.

Choose your plate

Choose your plate text or use a generated suggestion. There are 12 glass plate styles. Classic, Cream, Pink, Blue, Mint, and Stripes are free. New Night, Rally, Sunset, Violet, Grid, and Dots choices need Alternate+. Keep a saved paid style after Alternate+ ends.

See today's guidance and all 2026 holidays for street cleaning. Upcoming dates come first. Past dates follow. Alternate adjusts only street cleaning rules for holidays. Other rules can still apply. Open official NYC links for current announcements.

One car and one move reminder are free. The reminder uses a 45-minute lead setting. If less time remains, it is set soon after parking. Reminders need a future move time. Allow notifications. Device settings, Focus, and system limits can delay delivery.

Alternate+ adds more cars and move reminders. It also adds custom reminder timing and Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.
