TKD Quiz: TAGB Grading Theory

Every theory question a TAGB grading can ask, white belt to red tag. 251 of them, scored grade by grade so you find the gaps here, not in front of the examiner.

Grading day is a theory test as well as a physical one, and the theory is the half most people leave until the week before.

WHAT IS IN IT

251 questions covering the full colour-belt syllabus — 10th Kup white belt through to 1st Kup red belt black tag. Pattern names and their meanings, Korean terminology, stances, blocks, kicks, the tenets and the student oath. All of it from the TAGB syllabus.

HOW IT WORKS

• Choose any range of grades — a single belt, or everything up to your next grading
• Set the length, from 5 questions to 25
• Four answers, one right, and you are told straight away
• A score at the end, broken down grade by grade, so you can see which belt is letting you down

FOR TAGB AND ITF STUDENTS

The grading structure follows the TAGB syllabus. The patterns, Korean terminology and theory are common to ITF Taekwon-Do generally, so students in other ITF associations will find most of it applies to them too.
