GigaPrompt

GigaPrompt is an iOS App that allow you to create a Multimedia SetList of Tracks for a Gig, Event, Play, Workshop Performance or Practice Session. It could even be used to cue prompts for a Poetry Slam or Rap Recital. Is has many applications but the most common are as a set of visual prompts or cues for a Live Event. Each Set can be constucted to have one or more Tracks which are like sequential steps, that can be looped if necessary. Each Track will playback in order but there is also an option to auto-pause between tracks to allow the User to ineteractively resume playback on demand. Tracks can be made up of any combination of Videos, Still Images, Audio, and Subtitle content. The Track will be displayed for the specified Duration which can include looped head or tail sections. A countdown indicator (which can be optionally hidden) will be displayed while each Track is being played back. Context-Sensitive Help is supported within the Application which can be consulted for more information about any of the Views or Features. A selection or playlist from the Music Library on the Device can be chosen for the Track's Background Audio to be incorporated into the playback. The Application will mix the Track's audio either from Video or Narration with the Background audio. There is a built-in Voice Recorder to add a narration track in addition to any audio embedded in the Primary Video content. In addition there is also an optional Siri-powered Subtitler which can convert the narrations to Closed Caption Subtitle files that can be displayed for lyrics (or chord changes or other cue information). GigaPrompt has been upgraded to include Pro features to enable Sharing SetList Content. The Pro version also has the ability to "AirPrompt" to nearby devices that also have the GigaPrompt App installed. This allows for the subtitle content e.g. Lyrics and Chords changes, to be sync'ed between band members, or dialog lines of a play to be sent synchronously to all cast members on stage (during rehearsals or even live performance). Pro users are also able to re-use Tracks from other Sets either as a Duplicate Set, which is essentially a complete Clone or alternatively there is the option to make a Composite Set. A Composite Set is particularly useful where the Pro user wants to re-use Tracks across a Series of Sets.
