INTRODUCTION产品介绍
Vorta is a feedback drone synthesizer for iPad.
At its heart is a resonating string fed by a whisper of noise. Nothing happens until you turn up the feedback: then the loop wakes up, the string starts to sing and the sound grows into drones, swells and evolving textures – from deep, slow-moving pads to screaming, cinematic horrorscapes.
HOW IT WORKS
• A Karplus-Strong string sits inside a feedback loop with saturation, filters, reverb and a "body" delay
• FEEDBACK sets how much energy goes back into the loop – the big knob is the instrument
• FREQUENCY tunes the string, BODY changes the length of the resonator
• LOWPASS and HIGHPASS shape which overtones can survive in the loop
• The reverb lives inside the loop, so it changes the timbre, not just the space
• A tape-style echo with repeats that can saturate on purpose, plus a 1/2 switch for instant Doppler warps
PLAY IT YOUR WAY
• Standalone app and AUv3 instrument plugin
• Works in AUv3 hosts such as GarageBand, Logic Pro for iPad and many others
• MIDI notes transpose the string; the drone keeps ringing after you release the key
• Every parameter can be automated by the host
• Landscape and portrait
