BounceUI

BounceUI is an interactive laboratory for exploring interface behaviour.

Some things can't be understood from documentation alone. A document can tell you that dampingFraction controls overshoot, but it can't make you feel the difference between 0.2 and 0.8. It can describe materials in a table, but it can't let you place an image beneath them and see how legibility changes.

BounceUI lets you experiment with interface behaviour through live, interactive specimens. Open one, drag a control, and see the result immediately. When you find a combination you like, tap Code and copy the SwiftUI that produces it.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Six sections, each exploring a different part of interface design.

Foundations — Explore semantic colour across appearance and contrast settings, Dynamic Type, layout, symbols, shadows, corner curvature and materials.

Components — Experiment with familiar controls and adjust the system parameters that shape how they look and behave, alongside custom variations.

Inputs — Explore presses, drags, gestures, touch interactions and scrolling behaviours, including situations where multiple interactions compete for the same touch.

Motion — Compare springs, curves, transitions and effects side by side. Adjust the parameters and see exactly how each change affects movement.

Liquid Glass — Explore navigation, bars and translucent surfaces using the platform's native APIs.

Patterns — Experiment with small interaction details that make an interface feel considered, including undo, refresh, swipe actions and haptics.

The catalogue grows over time, with specimens added, refined and replaced as better explorations emerge.

HOW IT WORKS

Every specimen is live.

Where a parameter is worth exploring, you'll find an interactive control beneath the stage. The stage stays in place while you experiment, making it easy to focus on one change at a time.

Not sure where to start? Named presets take you straight to useful starting points. From there, adjust the controls yourself and save combinations you want to come back to.

When you're happy with the result, the generated code reflects your current settings. What you copy is what you just explored.

No accounts. No network requests. No analytics. No tracking. No ads. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases.

Your presets are stored locally and never leave your device.

Haptics can be experienced on a physical device.
