FilmPlay: Make Life a Movie

Make a movie out of an ordinary day.

Morning light. The walk home. A weekend away.
FilmPlay is a camera and editor for capturing photos and videos in colors you love, then bringing them together into short films.

Find your look as you shoot
See your chosen look on screen while taking photos or recording video. Explore natural tones, vintage 8mm, classic black and white, expressive blues and more. You can also apply looks to photos and videos from your photo library.

Photos and videos, one story
Choose your favorite moments, rearrange scenes and adjust their length. Combine still photos and video clips into a film up to 3 minutes long, in portrait or landscape.

Add a date, a time, a few words
Bring dates, clocks and captions into your film. Add a film-style date stamp or cinematic black bars to capture the feeling of the day.

Set the mood with sound and motion
Turn the original sound on or off for each scene, or slow a video scene to half or quarter speed. Choose one of your own audio files as background music for the whole film.

Keep your originals
Edit without overwriting your original photos and videos. Save finished videos to Photos in 1080p, or apply a look to a photo and save it on its own.

Start for free
Five looks are included: Gentle Everyday, Vintage 8mm, Classic Monochrome, KITANO BLUE and Movie Trailer. You can also shoot without a look. Capture, import, basic editing, date and time overlays, and saving are free.

Unlock all 52 looks with a one-time in-app purchase. No subscription. Browse thumbnail previews of every look before you choose. Paid looks require FilmPlay Pro.

Your day. Your colors. Your film.
