Brick Gigil is a brick breaker with a hand-painted look, moving bricks, and weird little boss creatures that like to mess with you.
You control the paddle, launch the Gigil (the ball), and try to clear the screen. Simple idea, but things get interesting pretty fast.
Hand-painted, not plastic
Brick Gigil doesn’t try to look “perfectly digital”.
The art is meant to feel a bit like a small painting:
- Soft, brushy textures
- Warm colors
- Levels that look like someone actually drew them
It’s still a classic arcade game, just with a more personal, handmade feel.
Bosses that drop bonuses
Some levels include boss-like creatures made of bricks.
When you hit them, they can drop bonuses that:
- Make the Gigil (ball) faster or slower.
- Make your paddle bigger or smaller.
- Add little twists to how the paddle or level behaves.
Sometimes those bonuses help, sometimes they just make things more chaotic, but they always keep you awake.
Moving bricks and changing layouts
Not all bricks just sit there and wait:
- Some bricks slide or shift around.
- Layouts can change while you’re playing.
- You have to think about angles, timing, and where the ball will bounce next.
It’s still easy to understand, but there’s enough movement to keep it from feeling repetitive.
