Nothing here was copied off a listicle. Each entry was checked against a carrier's own support page, Apple's documentation, or the 3GPP GSM spec, and anything unverifiable was left out rather than guessed. Retired codes that still circulate online were dropped.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY

Your favourites, notes, diagnostic results and settings are stored on your iPhone and never uploaded. Camera, microphone, location, Bluetooth and Face ID are requested only when you open the test that needs them, and none of that data leaves the device.

The app is supported by ads from Google AdMob, the one part of the app that contacts a third party.

HONEST ABOUT THE LIMITS

iOS has no hidden engineering menus. Codes such as *#*#4636#*# do nothing on an iPhone, and this app does not list them. Carrier support for any code can change without notice.
